Security Deposits

Security deposits are a special type of payment that allow you to refund or use the amount as a consumable at the end of the lease term.

Creating Security Deposits

To create a new security deposit:

1. Click on the "New" button on the upper right portion of the table
2. Select the unit from the dropdown to create the security deposit for
3. Enter the amount and an optional description
4. Set the refund date. This is usually near the end of the lease.
5. Set the payment due date. This is the due date of the security deposit payment
6. Click finish.
