Separating rental billing period and due dates

Separating rental billing period and due date
The rental billing period is now a separate entry

For the longest time, the billing period of tenants are bound to their due dates. Meaning, updating the rental due date of your tenant affects the billing period shown in the invoice among other things. Separating the rental billing period and the due dates allows better flexibility for our property managers to customize rental due dates. An ideal scenario for this use case would be:

  1. Tenant A moves in on May 1, 2020, paying his first month's rent before moving in.
  2. By default, my property sets the due dates to 1 week before the billing period of the tenants.
  3. With Tenant A's next billing period starting on June 1, 2020 and ending on June 30, 2020, I would like to set the due date to May 25, 2020.
  4. My tenant will receive notifications as set based on the due date.
